Spain has trouble letting go of old passenger terminals.

First we have Madrid Barajas, which despite the size of T4, still managed to keep most airlines stuck in the T1-T3 dump. And now Barcelona's doing the same!

Why Spain, WHY!??!?

Barcelona "old" terminals are from 1992 and they have got a beautiful design, my friend!

In Madrid T1 and T2 are awful!

Of course I know, that i wont be using the new terminal, but as a Architecture student, looking at the construccion of a building like this, is almost as exciting as looking at it when completed

Y la más espectacular. El edificio que me parece más avanzado es uno de los bloques de parking y luego el edificio términal propiamente. La hoja de la espada, por lo que vi esta concluida en plantas subterráneas, cubierto primer forjado y levantando pilares de primer piso a nivel de pista. Pilares metálicos, por lo tanto quizas no los forren con las columnas pseudo dóricas-llaves allen de la terminal antigua.

A lot of the steel structure has been raised The columns I mean I suppose there is still a lot of time before roof is made.
