As an elegant blend of ocean, sail boats and the sky, this project entitled The Edges @ Palm Island are three residential towers that blend the latest Cybertecture with the elegance of an iconic architectural form that cuts into the sky by a unique curving facade of balconies and thereby creating a signature profile on the horizon. The building creates excitement by its “energy” of reaching out to the oceans, whilst on ground level reaching out to the beautiful beaches of the Palm, making it very attractive to investors and residents.

This is a design that is in balance between the natures of the ocean, the nature of the sky, the nature of the Palm and the nature of the Cybertecture inside – creating a wonderful luxury proposition of living on the Palm Jebel Ali.

The architecture is a high-tech blend of geometry, glass and sculptural juxtaposition that creates an iconic trio of towers. Viewed from a distance, different angles of views of the towers give a sophisticated interpretation to the form of the buildings in relations to each other. This sophistication is not achieved through any “twisting” of the building, but actually achieved in the skillful play of geometry of the plan, thereby not sacrificing on the efficiency and build-ability of the standard structure.

The towers therefore also achieve a high 80%+ efficiency and are relatively inexpensive to build.
