Cirrus to launch The Vantage at Waterfront

The Vantage will be 185 metres high on completion. (SUPPLIED)

on Thursday, September 25, 2008

Dubai-based developer Cirrus Developments has launched a landmark tower, The Vantage, to be located at the Waterfront developed by Nakheel.

Waterfront is the world's largest coastal development based on the shores of Dubai.

The Vantage will be unveiled at Cityscape and its public sales will begin on October 6.

Designed by renowned architects, the Dh2-billion project will be 185 metres in height on completion, according to a press statement.

The Vantage is a residential 50-storey building, which will offer a range of apartments plus townhouses in addition to a boutique retail boulevard and a selection of famous restaurants which will be located at its base.

Commenting on the launch of The Vantage, Behnam Eshragh, Chairman and CEO of Cirrus Developments, said: "Catering to the affluent sector of the market, The Vantage offers beachside and parkside living, innovative technology, environmental credentials and the best in retail as well as top-end dining."

It will be built with environmental considerations in mind and the building will aim to achieve Leed (Leadership in Environmental Design Green Building Rating System) Gold accreditation. Solar panels on the roof are planned to produce enough power for all the common areas of the tower.

The Vantage follows in the footsteps of the highly successful Cirrus development, Aquarius Gate, which was sold out at launch earlier this year, said the statement. Aquarius Gate comprises two towers.

Kano, investment talk is frowned up so we can discuss this in the property and investment thread if you'd like.

with 2800/sqft they won't sell anything and together with all the talk about the waterfront being suspended nothing will happen here in a couple of years probably.
