Takeoff roll from Burbank, filmed a couple weeks ago. This is new service from Burbank from Spirit Airlines to Las Vegas. Looking out the window towards where the new terminal building will rise, which has not yet started construction.

I have no idea why this will not embed properly

Apparently this "LA" place is popular?...

Edit: What's the complete list of A380's that fly into LAX?

In this picture, we have Singapore, Lufthansa, Air France, BA, and Emirates.

Other airlines that have A380s that fly into LAX are: Asiana, ANA, China Southern, Etihad, Korean, Qantas, and Qatar

Do they all fly A380s into LAX?

Those large bollards have a practical purpose: to avoid cars crashing into the airport terminals themselves. I see them at SFO as well, in which, while it may be inconvenient for pedestrians to go around, those are made for cars not to speed and "attack" the airport premises.

A little old (from May 29) but a nice shot of the Midfield Satellite Concourse, as well the American Airlines facility that will need to be demolished for the second phase of the MSC:

When do they plan to open the new concourse? I was reading somewhere about early 2020. I might fly to LAX in March or April and I wonder if it will be ready by then.

Also, do they plan to send all the inbound international flights to Bradley? From what I was checking so far some flight from Europe (like some of LOT arrivals) are in other terminals.

And I have read less than flattering opinions about facilities, sending passengers by bus to Bradley, queues etc.

I'm looking forward to check the new Bradley terminal, last time I was in LAX was a decade ago...
