Agreed. I don't see Bloomberg having a chance. Two progressives (Warren, Sanders) and 2 centrists (Biden, Buttigieg) are polling best right now. Whoever it ends up being, hopefully Dems will unite around them to get Trump out of office.

Warren and Sanders are too far left. Biden is crippled with this scandal and his polling numbers prove it. Buttigieg has zero support with African Americans. It's a power vacuum currently. Bloomberg is more moderate and being a former Republican will help him win over the Independents. We don't want a really left candidate and even Obama realized that.

I hope that we could be civil in this thread and like back in the day you could agree to disagree in Politics.

I feel sorry for Nunes though. A man of such honor in his hayday, to be caught with his hand in the honey jar.

I know. QAnon said the same thing. Nunes maybe had a really "Good" conversation with Shokin. He won't even deny it.

Discuss.

It's actually about 6.5 million jobs added in the 34 months since Trump took office. We added 7.5 million jobs in Obama's last 34 months in office, so the pace of new hiring has actually slowed down a bit under Trump. And we were running much lower deficits under Obama then than the trillion dollar deficit we just ran under Trump this year. You would think with the much higher deficits we have due to Trump's tax cut and spending increases that the rate of new jobs would have increased over what it was. But that has not been the case.

There is no Recession at all. I agree that pretty much every major city is booming with construction. And even mid level cities like Louisville Tulsa Tallahassee are growing...

There is no looming recession or any downturn in downtown Tampa development. I know people like to be the ones to have called it out. This will be on track soon, there is zero reason to rush such a premiere project..

That's kinda what happens when you bail out businesses, cut interest rates to the floor, and pump billions of dollars into a "great" economy.

Trump is only keeping US aflot until he wins, then it's BAU.

Yep. I think whoever wins, whether it's Trump or a Dem, is in for some turbulent economic times between 2020 and 2024. The bill is gonna come due at some point.
