Sure it's brutal, but is brutal enough?

There is some quite nice detail to the concrete, but does anyone notice? Probably not!

Atrocity exhibition

Nice art deco(ish) building though

This is a little thing at the back, Like this 30s one too..

A couple of redbrick buildings that caught my eye:

I like Warrington, it's like a mini city with it's shopping/cultural quarters, and it's home to the Fiddlers Ferry power station, tallist buildings in the north west!

Oh and it can industrial "ugly" too! Always a bonus in my book

Aerial view of some of the current developments in Warrington from @WBC_Develop

A University Technical College backed by Manchester Metropolitan University is going next to the Business Incubator.

The Bank Park development is a new pavilion, which also contains a cafe, and new artificial bowling greens.

The development at Victoria Park is a new 300 seat stand to be used by the community, Warrington Wolves academy and Latchford Albion ARLFC.

And of course the Bridge Street plans, demolition work has gone quick and Time Square is now gone.

There is even talk of building a bridge across the Manchester Ship Canal there.

This project is huge as it creates a new link road. The road will link Warrington with Sankey/Penketh. You can see one of the new bridges over the Mersey in this picture.
