The building is unique. I doubt it will ever have trees, however if they did they would have to put up some type of barriers on each level I imagine.

It's not unique. It looks exactly like every other 'stacked-glass boxes with garden terraces' skyscraper render I've ever seen, except it has atrocious proportions, and it's down the street from the city's greatest architectural icon to boot. **** this noise. Redesign it or chop it in half, either way it sucks.

Please find me any other buildings that look like this, even more that came to fruition. Certainly nothing this tall. You exaggerate.

Who cares about uniqueness. A supertall coated in feces, armpit hair, and pus would also be unique and unprecedented. Doesn't mean we should build it - although I'd honestly prefer it over anything Vinoly designs.

Architecture schools are the reason we hardly build beautiful structures anymore. Function over form is what has led to these ghastly modernist eyesores.

This sounds like you and the school are asking people to have no opinion and as if those architecture schools dont teach their students to strive for creativity and greatness in their works. If anything goes, then lets raze MSG and replace it with a gigantic Gene Kaufman designed megatall. Preferably with huge blank walls on two sides.

Vinoly is either amazing or terrible. There's no gray area for him.

Perfect building for an address as in your face as Penn 15. A literal phallus beating NYC's skyline senseless.

Haha, I like Gene Kaufman. Good idea.

Greatness is subjective.

Creativity has little to do with what the client wants/needs.

Not everything can be beautiful. It would be pretty boring if so.

If you're going to scream "this is terrible OMG OMG," at least tell us why you think so.

This is the first time I've seen 'greatness' and 'Gene Kaufman' that close together. The building is objectively hideous, but I understand some people like to be contrarian for kicks.
