Atomicus is such a nice name too man! Thanks. I almost love Japan's urbanity and rural life equally, but I just happen to love the rural side a it more. The feel of old Japan mystifies me.

Go buy that camera and come here! Of course you may also just rush here and you can buy the camera here! I think that's the better option, well because Japan is the camera country itself!

I only have two. A rather now old Canon EOS Kiss X3 (otherwise known as Canon 500D). There have been 2 upgrades already along this camera line (X4 and X5). I use a Tamron 18-270 mm telephoto lens (not the best but was cheap).

The other one I got last year is a sports cam (looks like a toy cam) Go Pro HD Hero2. This is the one I used for those rather wide angle shots that almost have a fisheye effect.

An American set-up a performance show near the castle (where there are a lot of tourists) and entertains the crowds with his funny Japanese and mad skills with the balls.

I caught fishes from Seto Inland Sea.

One of my favorite fishes from this region, especially when cooked nitsuke style....mebaru!!

I forgot the name of the other species.

I've lived here for 4 years now. Probably a year to go, til I finish my studies.
Japan has a lot of beautiful things to capture so I don't really need to exert so much effort.

Yeah, I was talking about fishing. Seto Inland Sea. Ushimado, Okayama Prefecture.
