IMO this is the most beautiful tower under construction in Nairobi. (and indeed in the whole of EA)

Only Jabavu Village (if it ever gets built) Could have a chance of beating this tower in terms of beauty in East Africa.

This would make a great 45 floor building. Is copy its design if I were NSSF doing the convention center in the CBD. A twin towers would be wonderful for NSSF there.

FROM THE DEVELOPER

We are pleased to inform you that construction at Le'Mac is progressing well.

Attached are some recent pictures taken from site. As you can see the casting of the 8th floor slab is currently ongoing . The contractors expect to reach the 10th floor by the end of December 2014.

Aside from this the plastering in the basement is 100% complete. Finishes such as paint, installation of fire sprinklers and air ventilation in the basement starts from 1st February 2015.

Some other interesting facts include:

Approximately 2800 tonnes of steel used so far.

Usage of concrete to date is approximately 28,000 tonnes

The tiles and sanitary-ware have been sourced from Spain and are currently on site. Attached are some samples of the products that will be used.

There's been a upgrade in the mechanical parking systems which were being imported. The installation is expected to start from February 2015

In order to meet timelines the developer informs us that lighting, plumbing and partitioning works are being conducted simultaneously with construction. In addition to this they have imported and are installing a second Tower Crane on site.

This developer is pretty cool!
He's having patrons vote on which finishings/fixtures/ etc to use on the interior.

To help speed up the construction of the interior the second will bring up supplies for the interior. While the first will continue building and bring up construction materials.

I wish they made it a 35flr tower.

In my opinion the best tower in all of East Africa is going to be the Prism.
