pernah denger kecelakaan sambungan lepas diluar negeri ? kyaknya gak pernah...

masalah yg terlalu sering mulai dari bis terbakar, sambungan lepas, mogok, bunyi kretek2, suspensi mati, ac mati, bocor indikasi perawatan yang kurang.. mungkin pengelola nya berpikiran yg penting penumpang terangkut semua sampai tujuan

1990-1995/97, jakarta public transportation was provide double Decker bus by Volvo at sudirman thamrin area. why its stop??
high maintenance perhaps.

Iya om VRS, bus tingkat PPD dihentikan karena beberapa faktor.
1. Biaya maintenancenya tinggi dan sparepartnya rare
2. Kendaraan lumayan berat, kalo ditanjakan lamban dan berpotensi bikin macet.
3. Aksesibilitas bus tingkat juga makin menurun seiring banyaknya flyover yang harus dilewati.

flyover min height 5 meter. i think because maintenance. acceleration slow? all double Decker cant high speed.

Flyovers allow maximum height of 5 meters. I think because of the maintenance or slow acceleration? All double decker cannot sustain high speed.


That's correct that double deckers have inferior speed and acceleration due to its massive mass. However, that should not be an issue in the downtown area. Flyover also not really a big issue since most of the flyovers already exist during the double decker era in Jakarta.

Perhaps the main issues are the price and maintenance cost.

Kalau saya lebih prefer double decker itu buat turis mengunjungi mal2, kota tua dan beberapa atraksi di Jakarta. Jadi turis benar2 di beri bus sendiri utk blusukan di Jakarta terpisah dari transportasi masal lainnya spt di Melbourne.

if no traffic jam = thats bus topless Hippo its very comfort.
but if that bus route via demonstration at bundaran HI, crowded traffic jam at tanah abang, busy sound at gajah mada area, pollution bus at blok M area, flood area at casablanca??
*remember our government are never any serious to make professional blue print layout of jakarta city.
include busway = shelter made by cheap material, inside bus no any information sound if close to shelter, automatic door at shelter open, shelter very small size, bus line always no different with regular street when traffic jam happen.,etc

a menyebutkan program serupa pernah dijalankan pada tahun 2012. Jumlah penumpang saat program ini dijalankan lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan hari biasannya. Jika pada hari biasa jumlah penumpang rata-rata hanya sebanyak 320 ribu orang, maka pada saat digratiskan mencapai 400 ribu penumpang.

If there's no traffic jam, that topless Hippo bus is very comfortable.

Perhaps refering to this bus, not other kind of topless


But what if the bus route passes through demonstration area such as bundaran HI, crowded area such as Tanah Abang, noisy street like Gajah Mada, air pollution area like Blok M, flooded area like Casablanca.

Remember that our government is never serious to make professional blueprint of Jakarta city layout.

That's including busway shelter that made of cheap materials, no information inside the bus if the bus is approaching shelter, automatic door at shelters, very small shelters, the bus line that has no difference than the regular bus when traffic jam happens.

Baru aja kemarin di omongin ttg bis tingkat. Saya prefer yg bukan model Hypo mengingat jakarta panas terlebih ketika ada demo.

Lebih asik lagi pas menjelang pemilu, turis bisa potret2 tingkah laku para simpatisan partai.

Sebenernya yg model topless double decker bus yang dioperasikan grup perusahaan Hippo di SG dan beberapa negara lain itu paling ideal buat tourist sightseeing, karena yang di atas dirancang free to air, jadi kalo motret ngga akan terhalang kaca. Sekalipun topless, sebenernya 1/2 bagiannya ada kanopi tapi tetep dibuat terbuka tanpa kaca. Di masing2 row tempat duduk dilengkapi 3.5 mm earphone jack untuk mendengar rekaman tentang penjelasan tempat yang dilewati
