wow look at how sleek Symphony looks! A much need modern look to the midtown skyline.

I agree with justdude.... cap 85/75 like Columbus did with I-670 out of sight out of mind......

it's in that tunnel they showed on vanished!

i'd love to see it capped, i love the fact it's below grade... but i think just adding some more connecting bridges would be almost as great, and instead focusing on bringing some kind of body of water...

With the budget that GA DOT has, I'm very surprised the freeway hasn't been medicated massive doses of Prozac.

^ No - GA 400 does go underneath one building in Buckhead, but that is all.

^ Not trying to sound weird (but who honestly tries? ) but I absolutely love driving under the Financial Center whenever I'm on 400. It's just cool.

I loved this type of aerial photos Isn't it the Wachovia Building to the right and above the tallest tower in the photo that was imploded?

Yes,
I rode by the site yesterday, and it honestly looked like 9-11, on a smaller scale of course- It was very surreal.
It will have a 30 story condo called Fox Plaza due to its proximity to the Fox Theatre.

Wow, Atlanta has built a lot since I lived there in 2001, but it's so damn surprising looking at this photo how the density just isn't there. All those parking lots! You can see the freakin' base of almost every building. Kinda sad commentary on how much dependency Americans have on the suburban lifestyle and the automobile! Anyway, great shot of midtown, though.

It's a really good example of why the Atl skyline is so weak. It's just the epitome of sprawl. Not attractive at all.
