Leritondecasa adore.

More light is nice.
But all these efforts to attract more visitors are probably useless. Because the reason for the lack of visitors is not the look of this mall, but the oversupply in Casablanca of the same formulas.

Exactly
We need local but trendy, inventive brands.
Some 15y ago we had concepts like "Bigdil" who offered items adapted to the local purchasing power.
But nobody wants to innovate in this nation. Bouchakara who wants to launch a retail business will buy a franchise and offer items priced the same price as in France. Very few brands adress the middle class or lower middle class through local, adapted products.

Yes. For example, H&M is very cheap if seen from an European perspective. But its not for local purchase power in Morocco.
Despite this fact they keep building fancy malls for the same small public. That small public is only driven by hypes and can only spend money at one place at the same time. If its populair to go and hang out at Morocco Mall, another part of Casa, for example Maarif or Anfa Place gets affected. Now its probably cool to hang out at Marina Mall, so less visitors go to Morocco Mall, and so on. Reality is that a large part of the Casa population can’t afford to buy something in those malls every day or every weekend, some even can’t afford to go there.

It’s time to think about real local needs, thats the only way to real urban development.
