I'm 100% certain theirs also a lot of wizardry that we can't see!

The other stands roofs once complete and jointed together will also give it all additional strength.

Any structural engineers in here who can give us a bit more info and in the know ................
Not a structural engineer, but I think the whole roof acts like a compression ring. If the roof aint complete the rings (there seems to be 7 of them) are not complete so the roof can not hold up. So the pilons are put up so that the roof can hold it self up.

It will be bigger.
The opposite stand will be closer to the roof.

But the capacity will be a little less than this stand, because there's a lot of VIP lounge, press stand, ... (18K fot the opposite stand vs. 22K for this stand)

Tallest tribune in Europe? (at culminating point, not average)

I'm just glad that someone is finally building something that is (positively) insane on the paper/plans. Its a nice change from typical and almost identical looking Euro stadiums that we've seen in recent years. Brilliant job.

Looks like it's higher.

54.78+ meters for the tribune and 70+ for the roof. 61 meters for the Jean Bouin tribune seems credible.

In a recent interview, president's Arema in charge of the stadium's building claimed that the new Jean Bouin stand will peak at 55 meters and the top of the roof will be 70 meters at his highest point.
