Im not sure about that.
It looks like winter has shifted in Israel and becoming longer.
from nov-feb in the past, to dec-april.
I see more rain ahead for the start of april then sunny towards elections

If this continues next year I think officially the updated seasons will be
autumn sep-dec, and winter dec-april, then spring april-may and summer june-sep.

An interesting article.
It is about Amazon and its future entrance into israel, but the relevant part is about the delay of Sarona mall opening.
The main argument is that basically, Azrieli are sitting on a fence and waiting to see what will happen with commercial space market.
This is the reason for delay in opening the future mall.
Another reason given is the overflow in commercial space in the area.
Azrieli response was that they haven't decided yet on the "concept" of the future mall and thats why they haven't opened it yet, also that they haven't received Form 4 (weak excuse imo).

They are a publicly traded company. They have responsibility to their investors not to act in a panicked fashion - it could trash the stock.

Sure, but they should be truthful as well.
Take a look at Teva and its most recent debacle.
I think it is best to come clean to the investors, if indeed they are having problems with the mall commercial space.
In the worst case scenario, perhaps they should consider converting the mall spaces into something else?
Surely saying nothing and doing nothing is not a sustainable strategy in the long run.
And they are planning to expand Azrieli tower's mall as a base for Spiral tower as well.
How are they going to do that, if they can't figure out, what to do with a much smaller mall under Sarona tower?

the enterence to the building was quite easy.. i didn't even had to climb above the fence or something like that.
i could also go up on the elevators but i scared to get caught.. the climbing of 60+ floor on foot was very hard, it was on july and very hot.
but water + stopping for a tour on every few floors helped

Works on the mall ground floor are ongoing, seems like the sidewalk will be opened soon.

Don't particularly care about the mall, but putting the street into its final form is great news for the area.
Especially with the Sderoth Yehudit station works.
This is at least some relief for pedestrians in an area that has been a construction site for so many years.

Nothing to write (or photograph) unfortunately.

Nevertheless, according to Azrieli the mall should be open anytime from mid Oct. up to Dec-end this year.

EDIT: Part of the mall's western wing is already open.
