Localarea

One corner of India’s Golden Triangle, Jaipur is the state capital of Rajasthan. The Westin Jaipur is situated along the Delhi Jaipur Bypass near Jawahar Circle, in the centre of the city’s new commercial district. The central railway station is a 30-minute drive away, and Jaipur International Airport (JAI) can be reached by car in approximately 10 minutes.

Known as the Pink City, Jaipur is home to India’s most stunning hilltop forts and palaces, built centuries ago by the princes of Rajasthan. Take a royal elephant ride to the extravagant palace at Amber Fort that was made from white marble and red sandstone. Set on a lake just a few kilometres from town, its detailed mirror work and intricate carvings on walls and ceilings are captivating. Built in 1799 and meaning “Palace of Winds,” the five-storey Hawa Mahal is a delicately honeycombed pink-sandstone structure. City Palace boasts a vast complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings that blend Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Spiritual serenity can be found at the Birla Lakshmi Narayan Temple, a modern shrine highlighted by its splendid white-marble carvings. Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Janatar Mantar, and Jalmahal are other top cultural attractions.

Experience Rajasthan’s rich historical and cultural heritage at the Albert Hall Museum, one of the state’s oldest. Its variety of displays includes textiles, carpets, paintings, pottery, arms, weapons, and crafts. You can also peruse an extraordinary private collection of folk-art objects at the Museum of Indology.

Jaipur has wonderful shopping and is famous for its bright fabrics, carpets, handicrafts, camel leather goods, gems, and jewellery. Wander around one of the city’s colourful bazaars—including Tripolia, Kishanpol, Bapu, and Nehru—or visit the modern shopping complex at World Trade Park. Watch an engaging traditional Rajasthani dance performance, and recharge with delightful local cuisine.

Saw Dravyavati rejuvenation project crossing Ajmer Road.
This is a huge improvement as it will remove the waste water from the city.

Dravyavati river project is waste of money. Government wasted 1600 crore rupees but work is almost incomplete. Even landscaping on 100,000 square feet area is not done.
This project is not even 10% of major riverfront projects like sabarmati riverfront ahmedabad and gomti riverfront Lucknow

It is a good start and better than loss making metro project.
Atleast they cleaned the open drainage that crossed jaipur and smelled bad plus added to pollution.

Yes, we need more projects to stop dumping and cleaning of waste water.
Also, Jaipur needs to increase its green cover.
Governments plant but do not maintain or water the plants and they die.
