I wish the "flatiron" would get that horrible top floor and the vegetation removed; and also get the windows replaced.

I hope Doubletree can find a new builder to replace Shaylor and finish this off soon, and not have to wait years like the Metropolitan Hospital after Carillion's collapse

All Shaylor signage has gone, not a soul on site. A shame really.

Collapsed contractor had been tasked with adding two floors to Royal Angus Hotel

ISG has taken over a central Birmingham site where collapsed contractor Shaylor had been revamping a 186-room hotel.

Shaylor signed a £25m contract to overhaul the Royal Angus Hotel, in Birmingham’s Snow Hill area, back in 2018.

The refurbishment is designed by architect Falconer Chester Hall and is set to see the addition of two extra floors, as well as a roof terrace and four new meeting rooms.

Good news, ISG also took over The Emporium from Shaylor too.

I think that only leaves Gilders Yard out of the city centre projects needing a replacement?
