Facebook is full of whingers - if they won the lottery they would still moan - can guarantee they have never seen it - probably Daily Heil, The Distress & The Scum readers.

It's absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to see it completely finished, with a tram or two going past.

They are starting to pave between the tram tracks, looks like the same paving as on the main square...

This problem could easily be solved if marmalade moved all their tables and umbrellas to that square patch of grey land and used their planters to line that side. It would open up more of the red paved area for people passing through and ensure people didn't try to walk over the little grey cliff.

Thatís exactly what I think. The renders of the square showed Marmaladeís tables and chairs by this step. This step isnít supposed to be in the pedestrian route. The square isnít being used properly.

Would it be easy to remove the paint?

If everyone on here can see it looks shit with some posting better solutions why can't the people in charge? FFS. They shouldn't be in a job if this is the best they can think of.

It's not paint, it's some kind of plastic/acrylic (? ) that's been glued to the step, so it can easily be removed in future if the tables and chairs get moved.

Edit: Sorry, first post after over a year of lurking and it's a pack of lies. It's actually reflective tape. Still removable without harming the paving though.
