I thought that was going to be a reduction in height as per BCC!

Hope this one gets underway soon, driving past the other days I think it will look great and be good with this and 54geoege street to get fiveways some more footfall

I was just about to say..... just looked at the renders and it seems like we've got greay cladding on the ground floor of this one. Would be nice if the amendment has made it another colour. Is there still demolition to be done before this can start?

Apparently, according to brum2003, some demolition of the existing buildings has started.

And more replacing it. The colour of that plastic cladding is tacky.

I'm not a fan of blue. I do worry how this will turn out.

Luckily it's not as big and brash as this and in not such a wonderful location

Sorry Birmingham, but considering some of the crap we've seen before I wouldn't object to this

City Demolition hoardings around Bath Court. Seen from Islington Row Middleway. From an empty car park off George Road.

Here are 2 renders we haven't seen before, I know its not everyone's cup of tea, but I love this! Maybe it because my favourite colour is blue

I like it mostly, I just hope the cladding isn't the same cheap cheap cheap that has been used so much in the rest of the city in recent years. Though since it is for students, it probably is the cheap cladding. Fingers crossed it will look decent.
