Yeah itís dump around there with most sites just not able to get off the ground for reasons unknown.

Itís all gone quiet about the site opposite but then again it was by an unheard of company with no known track record. Hopefully 76 Holloway Head goes through planning soon and that eyesore is demolished.

I had pretty much given up on that Court Collaboration/All Saints Living site but with their recent progress at Arden Gate/The Axium hopefully we will finally see something happen on it

Bloody hell, they're a bit slow here. There appears to be a certain amount of lethargy with some developers.

I took these photos last Wednesday but I haven't had the time to post earlier, the site lies in the shadow of the Sentinels off Holloway Circus.

Are piling rigs the clear sign this development has started in earnest? Or are we waiting on something else? All seems to be quite slow still.

Piling and the groundworks (foundations and drainage) can look very slow and unexciting but lots of time, effort and money goes into it. We just canít see the progress easily because itís mostly below ground.

It would be odd to start the piling if they didnít intend to build the whole thing.

However it is possible aka Student Block on Pershore Street that did exactly this due to having no money in the first instance apparently.

I emailed them last week about the pershore st. student block and they said that the site has been cleared and that building works should begin "very soon" with completion for September 2020.

A white crane can be seen in the vicinity of this, I am assuming it is for this development.

Some walls have been created on the perimeter. There's also a lot of pipes laid about - it's the muckiest site I've seen - whatever happened to 'a tidy site is a safe site?' An impressive amount of ground has been shifted for the basements.

Awesome, these 3 cranes will really help our crane count especially as a few of them will be coming down soon like 3 Snowhill and 1 Chamberlain square.
