Could you post the two pictures together (the distance shot) one with the existing NatWest building in so we can see the difference in scale?

Add some more decent fillers and talls with snowhill, arena, paradise and left bank great view, we just need a real pinnacle!

Also wish the 3 ladywood tower blocks would get a makeover!

Noticed these the other week in worcester, they look brilliant, a real shame some of our tower blocks have been demolished the ones in the foreground of them pictures would look great in a similar clad, makes them look like a modern high end apartment block

Yes, drive past those frequently - they've made a very good job of them.

Van - have you got an image of the Birmingham skyline from St. Andrews looking West?

That's quite tall, the Sentinels look tiny in that photo for 90m though, is Colmore Row on higher ground?

Also, that's a great skyline shot! you can see the LG Arena and the Airport tower too!

Yes it is. Probably the highest point in the city centre.

Its a beast! Agree with the comments regards ditching the back end & upping it by 10-15 metres.

Do you think BCC will let this through as is, or demand a hight reduction?

If this & 3 Snowhill go through as planned they will certainly qualify for Brums Hardest Buildings thread 😊

It sort of looks similar to how I would expect beorma tower to look on the skyline.

I think this will get through planning

No doubt rock spring and sterling had discussions with the council before making the proposal known, they wouldn't waste money for it to be thrown out

Would look good 4 steps down, instead of a central peak. Would make it a little taller too. Perhaps this is the developers game plan!!!

If possible that would be a great angle to see, by far Brum's best side!

I'd forgotten just how good the skyline looks from St.Andrews until a couple of weeks ago, especially at night with all the colours.

This project will dominate the view from the East.

Hopefully van can oblige - I'm sure he did a mock up from the East a few years ago.

Its hard to imagine all the projects that we have coming through on the skyline together, there'll be a lot of bulking up around Centenary Square, but we have projects that are miles apart, 5 Ways - Eastside locks!

That render looks awful, but the mock ups look really promising - so hopefully it isn't a cause for concern. The close up detail visual also looks really promising, just a pity a building so tall and overlooking the gardens/square (and Victoria Square and the civic buildings) has no spire or crown to finish it off. Have to admit, much preferred the 'mini Heron' design.
