A real sign of just how much is underway right now is the fact that projects are going up in such close proximity to each other.

With Connaught Square also adjacent to this site Bradford Street is really coming along nicely. But then so is every area in the City.

Totally agree RB. I go through town most days and the amount of construction across all areas of the city centre is really impressive. To visitors of the city it must feel like Brum is booming. Very exciting to see the pace of change in our great city.... may it continue in the years ahead.

And to the visitors we get from other City forums. It's definitely getting noticed.

I`m excited about this site because the company who are behind it have now made three other planning applications for Bradford St. Hopefully, this will be a raging success and will encourage them to build the other three sites rather than just sitting on them.

I've been saying for at least 15 years how much of an asset Bradford St is and on the opposite side, Great Hampton St / Constitution Hill is - they are gems as gateways.

Agreed, but like we've been saying with areas such as Eastside, Bradford street would benefit from some ground floor retail in these developments, places to eat. A small museum or gallery perhaps. Something to draw people away from the Bullring and would provide a good link with the Custard Factory etc.
