So 3 Cranes here, 3 at SnowHill, 2 at 103 Colmore Row, at least 1 for Left Bank and 2 per building at Paradise Circus.

12 new Cranes in Town by Christmas?

Blimey.

Now there's a name in construction I haven't seen in a long while.

lol. Small changes to the building that don't change the principle of the development.

From the documents it seems they are into detailed construction phases and working out how they actually build the building. As such, there are some elements of the design that need to change a little like adding structural columns etc.

With them suppose to be starting this Summer, shouldn`t this have already been dealt with? How long will it take to sort this out?

28 days. Obviously they are behind schedule a little. This is all guesswork though in terms of being at detailed construction etc. That is when the sort of changes they have proposed tend to happen.

Sorry, but what exactly are we getting here? Is it - from Nikal's own website - this?

Quote:
Exchange Square is the second and final phase of development at Masshouse, Birmingham and represents one of few viable locations for the immediate large scale expansion of Birmingham’s business district.

Flexible outline consent has been granted for three quarters of a million square feet of mixed-use space.

Outline planning consent comprises of

Up to 550,000 sft (NIA) Grade A offices
Up to 150,000 sft of hotel and / or residential use
Up to 50,000 sft of complementary retail space
Up to 500 car parking spaces
Clicky

or the 603 apartments as rendered on the first page of this thread? If it is the 603 apartments why hasn't Nikal changed their website?

Sorry I'm a bit confused.

We`re getting the 603 apartments in this phase and then another 220 or so apartments in the next phase.

Nikal still haven`t updated their website.

Oh come on now Reiss...

If you read the Birmingham Post you'd know that lighthouse is nearing completion.
