Yeah, it will be uniform but deal with as part of the lease i imagine. The planning app would have shown the shop fronts too so there isn't much way to change it drastically. The detailed apps for shop fronts will come forward once operators come on board.

At least, that is generally what happens.

I quite agree. I like the uniformity of that run of shops on Bristol Rd - looks smart!!!

While having a gander at Phase 2, I found these renders of Phase 1 'Sky Gardens' that seem to be missing from the roof, as Allegro are advertising this as a selling point, I hope they are still looking to put the gardens up there.

Maybe once the larger tower is finished, the greenery would look fantastic from street level and would break up all the brickwork a bit.

A few shots focusing on the tower now that the scaffolding has mostly been taken down.

Like many on here I wasn’t a fan, however I don’t mind admitting this has grown on me. Particularly as I’ve seen it in the flesh.

I think it compliments The McLaren Building (which is a fave of mine) and it does have a big city feel to it.

Just hope the area at ground level has some life - retail units and the like.

Oh...and a bit of lighting at the top at night!

it all depends on the vantage point in my opinion. From Moor Street it looks absolutely awful but from the front and looking from Aston Uni it looks much better.

It looks terrible between The Crown and BTP but better when next to average modern buildings.

This image here shows this building in all its horribleness. Truly shocking. Certainly a blot on the landscape. Hopefully all the plans for taller buildings close by materialise and this ugly monster becomes far less conspicuous.

Luckily it'll be blocked by MG, Exchange Phase 2, One Eastside and anything else we could throw infront of it.

Can anyone email the developers to ask why they have conveniently missed out putting in the sky garden. It would really improve the look. If I was buying a place here based on the renders I would certainly want to hold them to account. Hate it when these developers promise the world and then cost cut and water down.
