Looks awesome!

What's the chances of this one being built though?

High, since they're the company behind St. Anne's Court which is u/c

Would appear ESRG have a good track record. St. Anne's is U/C, their other dev is just up the road. I'd say there's a high probability this will materialise

Forgot about this one! This company is doing a fab job with the proposals on Bradford Street, all 4 projects are really going to improve the area! I just hope the three proposed projects get names along with St Anne's Court

Not a bad looking scheme, but quite disappointed they couldn't incorporate the old Park Works to retain some character tbh

There's been a reduction in the massing on Birchall & Green Street - 5fl down to 4. As before we had 165 apartments, we now have 141.

Amendments also to apartments sizes & a requirement for 30% parking & a 60:40 split of 2 bed to 1 bed apartments.

And of course, the facade has been amended to RED

It still looks good, but a little dissappointing how it feels like it has been watered down several times from the original design already. I am assuming this is what will be submitted for full planning.

The light brick was a really nice colour, but I suppose the redbrick is more in-keeping with the surroundings.

A shame the couldn't amend this with some retail at the street level, an amendment that would actually make a difference with interaction.

Agreed, I have this vision from the top end of Bradford Street where I'm sitting outside one of many a cafe bar looking down towards town through a tree lined boulevard..this really could be a real statement gateway, if all these planned developments came to fruition, and included just a bit of retail /commercial element in each one.

My first two thoughts as well.

You're right, The colour and shade could really help give certain areas identity. So I'm more than pleased with the red-brick in Digbeth. And we're seeing the lighter brick being used in developments such as Bromsgrove street and Southside. Let's be honest, as long as it's not grey panels we're fairly happy.
