I don't think it's fair to call Post and Mail journalists lazy for coming on this forum for ideas. That's exactly the sort of thing I think they should be doing. They're doing some research to try and find out what subjects interest local people.

If any journalists are reading this I'm happy to welcome you to the forum.

Equally can you also publish articles that the residents of Birmingham support taller buildings

Some more amendments went in for this on 11th April. I was hoping this would be one for next weeks planning meeting as there was nothing of any profile at the last one.

Yes. They clarified a lot of stuff about Camden Square but asked me not to repeat it. Sorry Ian.

Believe me Ian, I want to blab. The details were so juicy and tender that I want to blab it everywhere but I promised I wouldn't.

Lol! Sounds like torture RG! I like these developers too - they put a lot of thought into the Timber Yard. I'd have loved them to have had the St Luke's site and seen what they could do with it.

I'd liken it to withdrawal symptoms. Not nice at all. Wish I hadn't asked.

And the City Hospital site or 'Infirmary Wharf' as it's known.

I understand you dude! And did you get the impression they wanted to do more developments after the four we know of, RG? And without asking you to name names did they comment on how they thought they compared with the other developers in Brum?

Those are the only four sites at the moment but they stressed they see Birmingham as a big area for the future. They seem really keen to kick on with their four sites.

We chatted about other developers but nothing worth reporting to be honest.

This has been recommended for approval at next weeks meeting. Hopefully they can make a start this year.
