Here is a news picture about caisson construction for the Yangsigang bridge in Wuhan:
http://news.163.com/16/0414/15/BKKFP3QE00014AED.html
IMHO, it deserves some attention: main span 1700 meters, double deck, within city limit. It will be #2 in the world in terms of main span.

I see less and less suspension bridges and more hanging-cable bridges... I think they're both beautiful!

I have upload Shenzhen to Zhongshan bridge Animation to youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pcd...5cWpBP&index=1

This bridge's east part will use 6.7km tunnel, then cross a man made island, west part will build 18km bridges, including 2 main span: a 1620m main bridge with hybrid cable-stayed suspension structure, will surpass Turkey's third Bosphorus bridge become the longest hybrid cable-stayed suspension bridge in the world, tower 267m tall(guess about 58m width); and a 580m span cable-stayed bridge. This bridge will use many unique technical, such as cable not link to tower ,but use U shape tunnel set in the tower, etc.

Don't know, but I think hybrid cable-stayed suspension bridge will relative easy to build. At that video they said why choice this type because hybrid cable-stayed suspension structure can reduce anchor, and build large anchor in ocean is difficult.
