I'm glad the project was cancelled. I didn't want a third tier added to this stadium.

Now the end is not known if the levels of the tribune - GMP did not provide any visualization of the interior of only a primitive shelter visualize the object in its current state, but now runs the demolition of second-level grandstand.

Why must the 2nd tier be demolished? I like the seating bowl the way it is.

As to bring the stadium to UEFA requirements and the need for usable space under the current grandstands, it is not possible. In addition to the stadium is a little space, so do not zdziwiłbym would be decided at three levels of the tribune.

Is the stadium open or closed? I'll be in Kiev on the weekend that the Ukraine v Croatia World Cup qualifier is on. Does anyone know where its likely to be played? Do the Ukrainian FA even know?

New, official visualizations of stadium:

source: http://uaeuro2012.com/content/view/348/30/

On the place of the present second floor the champion will rise new, under him functional rooms will be found. A facade will cover the stadium of glass, the suspended roof will be in the shape of the wheel. The capacity of the stadium will reduce from 84k to 77k

some new photos from stadium:

Pretty conservative design, but I guess it gets the job done.

You're saying that that the final design has not been revealed yet. I'm not sure if the capacity should be reduced, since I wanted the stadium to stay in the 80 to 90,000 range.

It is new visualisation from GMP, I gave the source. There specifications of the stadium were given after the reconstruction as well as two visualisations. In a few months we will get the particular and accurate visualisations.

This way, probably a need of carrying out the tender for the chief executor won't probably occur, so they should make it - by 2012r January the stadium should be ready.
