I like Art Deco but I don't think the rendering is as smooth as it should be, and I'm unsure on those plastic panels. I guess it breaks up all the plaster a bit.

Looks a lot better in real life than the original CGIs. There are several design flaws as far as I can see. No basement or on site parking, ground floor reception is potentially too small for office space of this size (need to see it in person) and one lift for three upper floors is a little on the light side. If you want to drag good quality office occupier out of the city centre you need to offer some parking on site for the top directors. Similar problem with Haymarket hub (parking and ground reception issue) City Quadrant (small reception). Not the end of the world but is likely to mean the office space may take a while to let. Decent effort otherwise, like the design a lot and will lift the area. A nice cafe or restaurant in the other unit would be good.

The Jesmond - 9th April 2016

These images taken this afternoon, 9th April 2016. Sainsbury's now open as previously reported but no sign of the office accommodation being occupied.

Status can now been classified as completed.
