2019/07191/PA 395-398 Ladywood Middleway, Ladywood, B1 2TJ.

Demolition of the existing building to allow for the erection of a six storey block, including 62 apartments, with associated landscaping and car parking provision.

This proposal is outside the Middleway and will replace the Ladywood Health Centre at the end of Springfield Street.

21 x 1bed,
41 x 2bed.

All 62 homes are for affordable rent.

Seems a bit silly to demolish this

I have a suspicion CL81 that this estate will be heavily redeveloped as part of the Ladywood Regeneration plan. No inside knowledge but this would be a prime location for a high density residential development from a private developer.

Just noticed that the app says it will be a 6 storey block whereas the render shows a 5 storey block.

Should be a nice view of the Broad Street skyline from the upper floors in a few years at least. And it's close to Gustami.
