It looks the 2 towers are closer than the ones of sky view, if so the bridge should be built faster. In any case beautiful project

Now that the cladding progressed this far it becomes evident that the exterior design has changed. It was supposed to have "random" balconies that break up the facade and allow for vertical gardens, as seen in this render:

https://www.servicedapartments.ae/th...meirah-resort/

Where as the updated design is extremely flat and fails to hide the hideous vertical columns of balconies:

https://korter.ae/jumeirah-resort-spa-dubai

This is a major disappointment to me, because it was the facade depth that made this building so interesting...

My guess is for cost saving and speed up construction

The only thing I dislike about this is the lack of symmetry. In one tower two of the balconies' columns end abruptly. Should be better if they went all the way up. I think it could be slightly better with "random" balconies, but then again it looks very good without them, too.

What's interesting though is the last floor - seems like the new design has something on top that the original render hadn't.

I couldn't disagree more. It is a blot on the landscape. Same with the 2 Emaar towers across the water, symbols of Emaar greed, not need.

During the heavy rains a few weeks ago the sewer system became overloaded and sewage was bubbling up through the manholes and flooding the land beneath the bridge. The main sewers were never designed for all these 50+and 70+ buildings that they just throw up randomly opposite JBR. Going to be fun when The Address goes live. Not just with the sewers, but with the roads. It takes 20 minutes to do a left turn or U-turn at the light just now. Traffic is backed up over the bridge and onto Sheikh Zayed Road every night. But they keep building more and more stupid tall towers on the island.

Has anyone ever checked the shadow on the beach from this tower? The beach is in shade in December and January for about 400 metres. A time of year where tourists come to Dubai for the sun. They have destroyed the beach with this monster, but hey we all love skyscrapers on here

I'm speaking on the aesthetic addition to the Marina skyline, Infrastructure is something else, it is no secret that Marina is a mess, I just hope they upgrade roads/runnels/bridges/sewage to be able to handle JBR upcoming towerssss.

Cars are not for cities. Dubai needs to make the transition to more intelligent means of transport, otherwhise sooner or later the entire city is going to become one giant, convoluted congestion. But we're getting off topic here...

Thank you so much! Do you know the company they used for the furniture? I bought a flat there and I'd like to do the same.
