To top it up, Govt will give permission to foreign carriers to operate only to Metro airports which in turn are mostly owned by private parties. So private parties benefit and common man suffer in both way.

Indigo reduces 5x to 4x daily on MAA-IXM and 2x to 1x daily on HYD-IXM eff Mar 29th.

yes I too have the same doubt .if they are cancelling morning maa flight then 1 service to blr will effect . some updation is happening

Both MAA-TRZ & MAA-IXM 5th frequency is available for summer schedule as per their schedule page, but booking not enabled.
MAA-CJB ATR service is also available (total 7 per day i guess).

But HYD-IXM morning service is not available for booking and in schedules page as well.

Yes, that requires a time change. As of now 3x only. Lot of changes to Indigo ATR flights at various airports.

Indigo updated IXM-BLR, I thought of 4th flight addition. But sticks with 3 daily.

BLR-IXM/ IXM-BLR
06:30 - 07:40 08:00 - 09:15
09:45 - 11:15 11:35 - 13:00
13:35 - 15:00 15:20 - 16:45

This is good for future additions in the evening/night.

It is not only by politicians. It is based on the central govt department employees demographics. i.e. which state or caste people work there more. It is a normal human tendency to give preference to things for their home state / town whether it is Railways or Airports or introducing other Artificial restrictions and rules

It is really surprising why airlines are reducing capacity in a route which got 80%+ occupancy rate. They could have added this as the 3rd daily.

If the first half of the day (ex. BLR) have the demand, then the second half of the day should have the demand too.

They were allowing for MAA-TRZ-SIN/KUL even they allowed for COK-IXM sector in COK-IXM-SIN since the sector being domestic leg of international flight, but discontinued that sometime ago for COK-IXM. In case of DEL-IXM-TRZ & TRZ-AUH/DOH, this is Domestic flight to International flight switch.
