Last I saw the only construction was the civil works in surrounding streets to re-route underground utilities in the area and enable construction to commence. That was back in March, so maybe they've progressed since.
While this is on the waterside it is somewhat different to the existing buildings at Darwin Waterfront around near the lagoon, as it's owned by Landbridge, the cruise ship terminal operator at Stokes Hill Wharf - so not technically under the "Darwin Waterfront" precinct banner.
I think this is an appropriate thread to discuss any progress though.
**Actually, I just checked and there is a website about the project and most recent update says actual hotel construction is now underway, as of June 2019: Landbridge Darwin Luxury Hotel
