< Yes, the time of year to reflect too.

So...

Wonder why this freakin' thing hasn't been able to get outta the ground either, since the mid-90s in 2 different forms!!

...and nobody answers the sales no. phones when I call and the stoopid sales office is NEVER open on Central Square.

How can they expect to do sales for this!?!

Well, looks like the sales office has closed (it was never open anyway), but I passed last week and they have moved everything out including the model.

Very strange if you ask me.

Actually, I believe construction is beginning...or demolition at least! There are new big hoardings along the footpath on the Harris St frontage (the smaller portion of the complex seein in the rendering to the left of the Agincourt Hotel), and demolition noises coming from within...seems like a start at least!

They have now also put up hoardings on Central Square.

I noticed the hoardings on Harris St have the MIRVAC logo also upside down. Nothing on the Mirvac web site as yet. Don't know if they are recycled or to be covered at a later time.

Some work guys with construction hats were busy milling about the Harris St side too.

So this, I guess is now U/C.

BTW The salesroom has re-opened a few doors down.

Good news to see this one finally get going. We need a few taller ones down there.

Great to see this one go through. If the renders are anything to go by this should look sweet.

@ Cul- there is a building U/C just up the road, say about 25 m away. It opposite the police station.

This is the development under construction on Regent Street, across from the police station - Hightown:

Well this one had been very busy as of late. They have demolished the old crappy run down computer store and it looks like the bulk of the site (behind Macca's) is now cleared. Hopefully this one will go up soon and quickly. It would wonders to the area and maintain the skyline at street level at railway square.

These are nice little medium rise developments. "Beef up" the area a bit.

Taken last Saturday. Crane is now firmly lodged.

One of the workmen told me 6 stories down. Looks it!

Taken from across the street on Harris St, but it can easily be seen from Central Square as well.

Very good!! Had been looking forward to this but with all the delays and mucking about, looks like we might see this rising in the new year. Excellent to see. Cheers!

Passed the site yesterday, had a peek-a-boo and the concrete had been laid with the pilings. They are already constructing the 3rd basement level. Seems this one is moving relatively quickly
