MOROCCO: As part of a bilateral forum between Italy and Morocco, national railway authority ONCF signed a new co-operation agreement with Italy's FS Group in Rabat on October 11. The event was attended by Italy's Vice-Minister of Economic Development Adolpho Urso.

The agreement continues a railway co-operation accord signed by the two countries in 2006, under which technical experts from FS Group have been assisting with the modernisation and expansion of the Moroccan rail network. The agreement covers management processes, infrastructure technology, research and testing and the training of engineering, operational and administrative staff. FS will also assist with the testing and commissioning of Italian-built tilting trains ordered by ONCF.

But Now, we don't know :
- what types of trains (regional, intercity ...)
- how many trains.

1- Do you think that Morocco will not buy the TGV Duplex (contract with Alstom will be sign before the end of 2010) and opted for Alstom Pendolino built in Italy, and exploited in Italy and not France that will explain the italian cooperation with Italy's FS Group ? France give financement for the HSL/HST 100% french.

2- Do you think it will concern an other project ?


We don't have more informations.

What kind of italians Titling trains exist ?

There is a big error of traduction from italian to english.

"Transporte pendular" was translate in "Titling", but it means "commuters". That's why we (moroccan forumers) didn't understand what happened !

"Titling" in italian means "treni ad assetto variabile" .

We thougt that ONCF will be ETR 600 or 500 because of the translation error !

purtroppo la verità e che Ansaldobreda è quasi fallita, l'unica commessa grande è data dagli Etr1000 commissionati da Trenitalia....

solo il mese scorso ha dovuto risarcire olanda_belgio di 32 milioni di euro, per aver venduto treni (FYRA) che alla prima nevicata, hanno rischiato di deragliare....

Questo dove l' hai letto? Di milioni ne erano stati chiesti ben di più, ma da qui a dire che sono stati già risarciti....

La situazione attuale è questa:

AnsaldoBreda: il report Mott MacDonald conferma l’affidabilità del treno V250 Fyra. Incomprensibile il rifiuto della Corte di Arnhem di mettere a disposizione di AnsaldoBreda il report MMD.
