Bashes me over line 1 (a.k.a. Guangzhou-Foshan line), then creates a thread for Foshan. Great. Another thread about this city got merged with Guangzhou's a while ago. And line 2 isn't opening until next year...

We do not have separate threads for Incheon (Seoul's Foshan) or Yokohama (Tokyo's Foshan) but Foshan metro is expected to grow so much that we may as well have a separate thread.

Nah keep the two metros on one thread, what is really going to happen is this thread will just die off after a couple of posts. Guangzhou doesn't get that much posts, so posting the going ons of the Foshan Metro in Guangzhou is no big deal.

Foshan Line 11 a radial line coming off of Guangzhou Line 11, basically a Foshan version of Line 14 and 21. God knows when it will start construction, rumors say 2019.

Guangzhou and Foshan are currently building a Highspeed loop line called 广佛环线 ( Guangfo Huan Xian ). Phase one runs from Foshan West station to Guangzhou South station and is scheduled to open end of 2019. Phase 2 will go from Guangzhou south station to Baiyun Airport with stations in Pazhou and Guangzhou Fiance City. Phase 2 is scheduled for end 2021. Third phase will close the loop to the west and is currently being designed.
