Alma Street Apartments | Stockton | Various | U/C

Sitting just on the edge of Stockton town centre, next to Stockton Station. The development will be made up of 34 apartments, houses and bungalows for affordable rent.

The homes are due to be completed in December 2019.

Who is the developer, private or social? Is this just a planning application? We often see pie in the sky applications go in with no certainty that they will progress beyond that stage. Are there spades in the ground?

It’s thirteen group. Yes, they started sometime late last year. From the last time I passed by a couple of weeks ago they seem about 75% complete externally.

As I say I’ll get some photos next time I’m in Teesside.

It looks an impressive development. You probably saw the Thirteen Group slash re: future investments.

Which I think included the Alma Street development in the investment proposals.
