GBT has decided to lower the height of the taller of the two towers even a bit further, now at 155' (as opposed to the last proposal of 167') to appease the neighborhood group tat has been protesting the project. The mixed-use building will now be 14 stories (instead of 16). The hotel structure will still be 10 stories. These are the further adjustments being made:

• a reduction in the amount of glazing
• adding 1.5 hours of free on-site parking
• prohibiting short-term rentals
• as part of a Metro Parks Department donation commitment, a potential greenscape budget of $100,000, which is more than double the original pledge of $45,000 proposed to the RWENA board and made last August.

Relatedly, GBT has agreed to keep the sidewalk on the south shoulder of Murphy Road open during construction.

All of this goes before Metro Council for zoning approval tomorrow (April 2nd).

This will now be known as Parke West. The two-section 14 story building will feature 210 residential units, 175 hotel rooms (no brand announced yet), 7,000 sq. ft. of retail, and 12,000 sq. ft. of restaurant space. Gresham Smith will be architect and Kimley-Horn will handle civil engineering.
