The first i notice in this pix is the Left hand rule in driving, secondly, Lagos has been a city long time ago. Nice pixs more please!

Ermm...no, not really. I'm sure Lagos looks 100x better today than it did back then.

We were unfortunate in that we had limited infrastructure at independence.

I know for a fact that most Nigerian cities were better in the 70s.

Wow.

Lagos in 70s and 80s was an El Dorado for people from my country(Eastern Europe). A lot of them went there and work as engineer etc.

What was the reason of big economic crisis in Nigeria?

Oil Boom was at peak in 1970s, wealth increased unexpectedly but soon after the Oil prices dropped and poor planning and over reliance on the commodity resulted in a crash of the economy leading into the 1980s, the economy worsened in the 90s before gathering some steam presently.
