I think there is. Hardly can be see in the plan that there is a parallel dotted line in the right of monorail station, which indicated underground tunnel, to disperse the traffic and as well to make this place more accessible from main road (Jln Shed Putra I guess)

From the rendering, current parking space of stadium Merdeka will become water feature, parking could be underneath it as well?

I was hoping that they would do an underground car park at the water feature in front of the stadium.

The water feature / public space there is fantastic and I believe would be well-received but it would be a waste if there isn't any underground structure there.

Seoul project. Somewhat similar to WM, don't you think so?

Would be nice if they build the Chicago Spire here, since it got stalled in Chicago. It'll compliment the Petronas Twin Jagungs.

Such a shame it was cancelled. But honestly, this design most probably will not be desirable in KL. I have a sneaky suspicion that fengshui will discourage a lot of chinese buyers. Why? I have to first make a disclaimer that I am no fengshui master but I think that spiral rotation may be considered to be in a constant state of flux... a no-no just as with a spiral staircase. Well, just my 2 sen... hahaha!

PNB is kinda brilliant i must say. they plan this project secretly (not until Najib burst it out). and when all the needed plans are put together and construction started, such political protest can be just useless.

I wonder why PNB hire Australian architect knowing for what their architectural styles are like less iconic.

There are plenty of other world renowned architect has to offer. Renzo Piano, Zaha Hadid, Bernard Tschumi, Peter Zumthor, Philip Johnson, Steven Holl and many more!

yeah i'm wondering the same thing too... i don't mind if they pick Cesar pelli because most of his work is iconic like petronas twin towers, HK ifc just to name few.

By having Caesar Pelli back, msia will have a more proper modern skyscrapers. I want Renzo Piano. I bet he can do a better version of the "diamond" concept Warisan Merdeka.

one thing that i like about cesar pelli is he able to design something that not only look iconic but also timeless. i never bored with petronas twin towers and HK ifc. simply stunning.

for warisan merdeka, it will definitely look outdated in few years
