Garanti Koza has announced its project developed for wta istanbul cup.
The complex is still under construction and the first arena which has a capacity of 5000 will be finished till may 22th and this year's final matches will be held here...second arena which will have a capacity of 10000-12000 is going to be finished in a year.the complex will also have two 2000-capacity court and 31 courts with a capacity of between 100-1000..

but what i can't understand is why they don't build it at the future Olympic Park, because they are close areas...

yeah? why not?

btw, the spires of the towers look funny. they are too tiny for these towers...

Because, the Olympic Park is very close and needs new tenis complex. It was abetter idea to build it in the park and so, one of the Olympic complexes would be ready as well. I could undrstand to build a separate tenis complex if it was away. But this location is wrong imo!

yeah, my question was same as yours. I meant "why not building as a part of the olympic complex?" this doesn't make sense. and as you said it would make sense if it was far from this region, maybe in asian side...

^^Probably, because this will be a private facility, but the olympic village belongs to the government.

Tenis olimpiyat oyunlarından ya çıkarıldı ya çıkarılacak, dahil olsa bile burdan faydalanılabilinir. Londra 2012'de tenis olacaksa mutlaka wimbledon tesislerinde oynanır mesela, olimpiyat köyünde değil. (büyük ihtimalle).

tabi öyle Joya'cığım, Wimbldon tesislerinde oynanacak. Ama eğer değiştirmedilerse, olimpik parkın içinde üstelik tam da tem'e bkan atarfta, yani stadla tem arasında tenis tesisleri olacaktı. Benim yer konusundaki itirazım bu bölge ile olimpik park çok yakın. Bask, bu tesis, anadolu yakasında veya maslak ataflarında olsaydı itiraz etmezdim... Yani yakınındaykn olimpik parka yapsalardı diyorum. Ha, bir sebebi vardır tabi, kurumlar ayrılığı mesela. Ama artık kurumlar birlikte bir iş yapmayı öğrenmeli bence...
