It is very interesting because among many other things, it shows the final stages and completion of the restoration of the Gymnasium, next to the Stadium

So they finished it. I wonder what will be the next big project there? Anyone know where they will focus their attention after the gym?

I believe they will restore the small domed mausoleum (K3) next to the Gymnasium. You can see its conical roof partially assembled above. As for excavations, the city is very large and most of it is still under the olive trees
In any case, the site's main goal is to finish the UNESCO world heritage site admission.

That is good news. Those funerary monuments are special. I suspect they may also get these columns off the ground that are situated just above the Sanctuary of Asclepios in the near future:



Looking at the olive groves it was clear the surrounding area is loaded with buildings of all descriptions - the aerial shots also suggest the same. It is an excessively rich archaeological site. They may choose to first explore/protect the ruins just south of the gym. Basically make everything as good as possible within the existing site before exploring the olive groves in detail. I am sure archaeologists have explored those groves on a superficial level. The temptation must be unbearable. The site is incredible.

Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα ανασκαφή. Το όρυγμα σε σχήμα Π ήταν αρχικά θολωτό , υπόγειο και λειτουργούσε ως δεξαμενη, πιθανόν και για ιεροτελεστίες, καθαρμούς κτλ. Μεταξύάλλων στον χώρο βρέθηκαν και δυο εξαιρετικά αγάλματα της Ίσιδας, στο ένα εικονίζεται με πηδάλιο πλοίου ώς Εύπλοια, στο άλλο θηλάζει το βρέφος Ώρο-Αρποκράτη.

It's one of the doors into the subterranean complex of the Sanctuary of Isis, the Π-shaped building seen in the drone photo of this post. As it is an ongoing excavation it's probably closed to the public.

Not sure if there is anything remaining from the original amphora. It's possible that there are enough traces of the base of the vessel on the top of the capital to positively identify the type.
