Cute town. What is its population, Andriy Shevchenko?

I been over that bridge in the last pic. Been to the town too, fairly small.

How about small Prikarpatye Towns thread? Like Sambir, Stariy Sambir, Drogobych, Truskavets, Skole etc

I made a thread of Sambir a little while ago, and I tried to find some pics of Truskavets, with no luck.

I remember it and I like it. Looks as if a thread for each small town does not stay alive for a long. And putting them togeather will show such nice places.
When being there I wish I had a camera at every corner.

Most of those in Stryi were built by the germans (GDR) as a cooperative effort. So they look more like the commie blocks in the former GDR or Czech Rep. But still they ain't nothing but commie blocks :nuts:

Ага. Жилые 5-этажки выглядят очень даже ничего. Сравнительно.

Мда, коммиблоки выглядят не так плохо, как, скажем, на Воскресенке в Киеве Мне кажется, что украинские панельки советского периода нагоняют депрессию даже не столько из-за своего вида индивидуально, сколько из-за планирования таких микрорайонов. Например, в западной Европе панелек тоже достаточно, но они расставлены по-другому, не так угрюмо, что ли...

Точно самые лучшые панельки из совеского периода.

Красиво,почти ,как Австрия уже,но я б там жить не смог,скучный,прилизанный городок.

Стpий такий i є, жодних спецiальних приготувань. Не кругом, правда, околицi там забацанi.

Які саме?Для західної України це типова архітектура,такі будинки можна зустріти в багатьх містах.
Давно я вже не був в Стрию.
