you can forget about question 12 :colgate:

I just read in The Nation this morning that "Cornick (Chief Exec of RaimonLand) admits that he would not be surprised if the spaces on prime floors at Rajadamri fetch Bt300,000 (per sq. meter) or more." :dizzy:

Also, "Raimon Land had earlier planned to construct 300 units on the plot but with the new findings (the buyer survey), Cornick has decided to keep the numbers between 180 and 200 units instead."

Not only Bt300,000 per sq. meter, but also bigger units....so rich buyers only please :gaah: :D :runaway:

Oh no, the Bankgok Post this morning reported that the boss of RaimonLand thinks roughly around early 2008 for launch of 185 Rajadamri.....so must wait a while  maybe waiting for happy economic/political days again after election??

also smallest of the 180 to 200 units will be around 120 to 130 square meters starting around Baht 200K psm and then up and up and up to the sky

I hope they have a unique memorable building design....

wow! almost as expensive per sq. wah as the 7 rai piece sold by UK Embassy on Ploenchit Rd.....

Cambodian Embassy reported to be 4 rai so....

B800K = 1 square wah = 4 sq meters

400 square wah = 1 rai

1600 square wah = 4 rai

4 rai = B1,280,000,000 price right??

yes, yes (always some off-shore payment to the seller's dummy company) to avoid the tax man (or at least the land office transfer fees?).... but if this was Cambodian soveriegn assets, maybe exempt??

let me guess: Mauritius? Cayman? receiver? ....or maybe more direct payment to the Cambodian government entity? (since it was a Cambodian embassy??)

but if it was B800K per square wah, probably could be real price? after all it was reported that British Embassy land on ploenchit sold
for a record (near B1 Mil per square wah)...

From today's Business Section of the Bangkok Post .... looks like Lehman Brothers will invest 25% and waiting for EIA approval, then project launch :dance2: ................ anyone? picture of building render please :colgate:

Lehman takes stake in venture by Raimon
KANANA KATHARANGSIPORN

To help drive development of four new projects worth at least 22 billion baht planned for this year, Raimon Land Plc is looking to raise its registered capital by 1.37 billion baht and will place debentures with Lehman Brothers to hold 25% in a new project, chief executive Nigel Cornick said yesterday.

He said the company would seek shareholders' approval tomorrow for a rights issue to shareholders to raise funds for new investment and working capital. Shareholders have to exercise the rights between June 2 and 6.

The company's current paid-up capital is 2.74 billion baht.

It has also offered Lehman Brothers Commercial Corporation Asia Ltd (LBCCA) the right to buy a 25% stake in its subsidiary Raimon Park View, the developer of the 185 Rajadamri luxury condominium.

''As soon as the project gets an Environmental Impact Assessment approval, the deal will start with an estimated investment of six billion baht,'' Mr Cornick said.

Raimon would issue debentures to LBCCA, which give the subsidiary an investment of 90% in buying the plot.

185 Rajadamri is one of four new projects Raimon will launch this year. Located on a four-rai site on Rajadamri Road, it will have 200 units worth 9.75 billion baht and will be completed in 2011-12.
