I'm supporting the Barcelona Bid. Qatar is Hosting too much, Eugene's Stadium is too small, so Barcelona has the edge. Also, Khalifa International Stadium will have a Capacity of 68,030 Seats by 2019. Eugene's increased Capacity will still be below the 30,000 Seat requirement for the IAAF World Athletics Championships.
Why should IAAF accept the bid if Eugene's stadium is too small? I think they would make an exception here to bring the WCh to the US for the first time.

I don't think Eugene will win, for the simple fact that America has the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland.

Me neither. But you said there is a minimum requirement for stadium capacity. So I'm a little curious why IAAF would accept the Eugene bid if that's the case.
Supporting Barcelona. Doha will throw ton of money at the IAAF to try and get it though.

It's an IAAF certified track? One of only a few in the US. That's the most likely answer.

Of course the other bidders would cry foul if the US won because of this and not the whole deal. (where capacity should be at 40,000, which was the reason why London had to give up their 2005 Athletics Championships because of lack of suitable venue and not getting the permit to build the 45,000 seater athletics stadium) - which of course is ironic due to their eventual Olympic Stadium and getting the IAAF Athletics Champs because of it.

They'd question why the US didn't simply take a large venue with or without an existing IAAF standard athletics track and modify it.

Eugene is a track and field mecca. It's an important city in that sport.
I guess the issue with the Barcelona bid is that it would be two consecutive European hosts.
Eugene is Track City, USA. I guess if they wanted too they could do something with Autzen but I seriously doubt that.

Hayward Field is a great venue to take in a meet and Eugene, along with the rest of the University of Oregon would make fantastic hosts.
I want Barcelona to Win. Qatar and United States Of America are Hosting too much.
The US has never hosted this event.

Doha lost to London for 2017, but they could be favourites for this event. It was even mooted at the time that the IAAF could award both bidders (London and Doha) the next two editions straight away. As it turned out, they didn't do that, but Doha will have the experience from bidding last time out.

The thing which swung it for London was the investment in the Olympics and the stadium in particular, and the fact that the crowds in London are generally good for these events. It was believed that whilst the Qatari fans did turn out for these events, they often didn't stay till the end. Whether that's still a concern I don't know.
I would say this is Doha's to lose. Would the IAAF want to give two consecutive European hosts the championships?
I want Eugene to Win.
