I decided it was best to create a new thread for this link, as I could not find a suitable existing one. Definitely a lot of effort has been put into this and a separate thread this deserves :)

The link
http://360.tallinn.ee/pano/list/en/

from where you can find beautiful 360° panoramas from a vast collection of different locations across Tallinn. Currently the selection seems highly focused on the Old Town and some other places near the city center, but hopefully this selection will be expanded over time.

You can also find beautiful perspectives of Tallinn's skyline and use the interface as a virtual tour. You can view each panorama in full 360°, zoom and navigate to which ever other location which comes into view.

Some of my favorites:
View from Town Hall tower

http://360.tallinn.ee/en/pano/show/1441802/separate

View from the tower of Church or the Transfiguration of Our Lord

http://360.tallinn.ee/en/pano/show/1441801/separate

View from the roof of a house on Harju street

http://360.tallinn.ee/en/pano/show/1441764/separate

Have fun and be sure to post your own favorites.

:cheers1:

jkk,how do you link those images?

Anyway,I like views from Kiek in de Kök cannon tower, from Toompark and from Viru square most :)

Btw,have you noticed how friggin' annoying it is that most of those towers are off-limits and even when they are opened to public, they never advertise it? Last year I found out that Toomkirik tower was briefly opened to public...a week AFTER it was closed again!

^^ Little old-fashioned action :D Captured a Print Screen and pasted it to Photoshop. Re-sized and uploaded the pics. Nothing too fancy.

Nice ones! Talking about 360s, Google cars will start taking streetview shots any minute in Tallinn and Estonia finally

Sadly one of the organizers of all this is taken hostage in Lebanon:bleep: Lets hope that everything gonna be ok.
