The real question is what TV / FM stations will broadcast from this beast? We should be able to pick them up here in Madison, given the tower's height! (Reception distance is a function of signal strength and tower height.)
I thought that the tallest self-supporting structure in the USA (since 2001-09-11) was the Sears/Willis Tower with its antenna masts. (Prior to that it was 1 World Trade Center with its antenna mast.)(I remember when it was the world's tallest free standing structure):
