:nocrook: Alright so I was so happy they decided to do the Fireworks on the Hudson river this time around. Since my Apartment has a view of the Hudson. Anyway enjoy the show with these 70 photos! :popcorn:

Well, from all those shots I nearly feel like I was there...thanks ! I did see the Hudson 4th July fireworks back in 2000 and wonder why New York doesn't use it's skyscrapers for it's firework displays like Hong Kong. We used to have a similar display on New Years along our river Yarra in Melbourne but have started using the buildings in the last couple of years. I think spectacular displays using structures like the Harbour Bridge in Sydney and the Eiffel Tower in Paris have lifted the bar over previous pontoon water displays. The actual individual firework explosions still look great in NY.

Imagine the surprise to the thousands of people (including myself) in Rockefeller Park when we realized the fireworks weren't going to be launched very high. There's always next time, I guess.
