Greenwich View Place

A mixed-use office and hotel scheme is being planned by Rowan Asset Management. The architect is Sheppard Robson. This would stand to the south of Canary Wharf.

Judging by these pics, it looks as though a few other big towers could be planned nearby as well...

Wasn't this planned a little while ago? Looks like there are a few towers round that way planned. I would imagine the height limit would be more relaxed since the flightpath for city airport is further north right? Be a nice little residential skyline there soon.

This tower reminds me of the bank of america tower in NYC. I say reminds cause it is quite different but it has that crystal kinda effect.

In fact it might be the best tower in London if it gets built, except for the Vauxhall (considering it gets built too lol)

It just smacks of 'vision' though... being on the other side of Millwall Dock from the DLR station I'd have thought Tower Hamlets would have a hissy fit about a building this size in this location?

Does the City Airport flightpath pass to the north or south of Canary Wharf, incidentally?

Great design! Looks a bit like the tower that got proposed for Liverpool a couple of years ago.

Does the land where the tower will be built also belong to the Canary Wharf Group or is it built outside of it? And if yes, are there any plans by other developers to build office towers in that area as well?
