Thanks, im scared of summer comming this year, those pictures look wintery but its been too mild and dry for sooo long, those dark and wet winter days Melbourne once had might be ending for good. :(

Looks quiet. What time were the pics taken?
The pix around the parliament and the gardens were taken around 5-5:30pm and the Federation Square pix were around 6-7.

It was very busy in the Collins street and Flinders/Swanston areas though. Federation Square wasn't that busy up the top area but towards the visitors centre steps was alot busier.

I think it's that combination of old and new architecture that makes Melbourne what it is.

Looks quiet. What time were the pics taken?
Generally the parks during winter empty after 4ish, when it starts to get dark.

I don't see how it looks quiet though - most of these pics are of buildings with little views of the wider streetscape itself.

A few more.. now in August :)

Love the REB and the museam. Great contrast between the old and new.
