Nice, now with 2 sets of trains and a 40 minute trip time on the airport line, they'd be able to offer hourly service instead of the once every two hours they had at inception. The good thing is they only need 3 trains to increase service to every 30 mins.
For service on the Kubwa line, using a similar average speed, they'd need 1 train for hourly service and 2 sets for half hourly service. Of course they'd also need 1 spare train for every 5 in-service trains. So a total of 6 trainers to operate a half hourly service on the entire route.
I also expect the trip time on the airport line to drop to about 35 mins because of the better acceleration of DMUs compared to the locomotive hauled operation they initially ran.
